A. Most likely, yes.
Q. I am interested in sailing but I don’t know how to sail. What should I do?
A. Come along to a club day and join DDSC.
Q. What about the kids?
A. Accompanied children are welcome at DDSC. They can just be there (unfortunately swimming is not permitted by TRC) or they can sail with their parents. We also have child size sail boats which we can teach them to sail in a supervised environment.
Q. I am thinking about buying a sailboat. What should I buy?
A. Not an easy question. Probably only inexperienced sailors would ask. For beginners smaller sail area and hull stability would be recommended. Fast and frisky is for later. You also need to consider your intended use. One handed/ two handed/ carrying capacity/ how hard to transport/ cruising or racing ?? etc etc Talk to us.
